Question: I am moving out and need my meter read for a final reading. What do I need to do? 
Answer: If you are moving out you need to contact the district office at 620-330-3885 and schedule us to go out and collect a final reading.

Question: I am selling my property. What do I need to do?     
Answer: If you are selling your property you need to contact the district office at 620-330-3885 and let them know the schedule. There is a Benefit Unit/Meter Transfer Form that needs to be completed between the buyer and the seller in order to legally transfer ownership of the Benefit Unit/Meter. The best time to complete all signatures is during closing so calling ahead is better then calling later.

Question: I didn't receive a bill.   
Answer: If you didn't receive your bill, call the office at 620-330-3885 and get the amount due and/or get another bill coming to you. If you did not receive a bill does not mean you do not have to pay it. Telling the office the following month you should not have to pay a penalty because you didn't receive your previous bill will not get you out of paying the penalty.

Question: I think I may have a leak. What do I do?   
Answer: If you think you may have a leak you can make sure all things are turned off inside and outside the residence. Look at the meter and if there is a leak it will state on the meter "LEAK". This means water is being metered throuigh your meter and you are responsible for paying for it. If you are not sure what to do, call the district office at 620-330-3885 and they will schedule maintenance to come out and assist you in finding the problem.

Question: The remote read and/or lid have been damaged. What do I need to do?   
Answer: If you damage your remote read and/or meter pit lid please call the district office at 620-330-3885 and let them know so they can replace it immediately. If the remote read is damaged the customer will be responsible for paying a $20.00 replacement fee.

Question: Does the district have a payment drop box? 
Answer: Yes. The district has a drop box located at 6025 CR 5375; Cherryvale, KS. Check out the map on the web page.

Question: Can I make a payment in advance?   
Answer: Yes. You can pay extra on your bill at any time and a bill will come to you each month showing if you have a credit balance (showing a "-" before the amount) or a balance due.

Question: What do I need to do if I plan to Dig around my property?
Answer: Call 811 or call 1-800-dig-safe (800-344-7233). You can go to our web page under the information tab click on before you dig and the 811 web site will pop up and you should find answers to all your question there.
